On this last Saturday, October 22, 2022, the Church in Piracicaba - SP, celebrated the first evangelistic festival, The Movement of Restoration.
This was the festival that opened a series that is scheduled to take place in the city of Piracicaba, whose purpose is to reach souls for the Kingdom of God.
On the occasion we were very glad with the participation of brothers from the Church in Santa Bárbara D'Oeste, together with Pastor Ademir who was tremendously used by God to speak with his people.
Brothers from São Paulo also participated, and from the Church in Valinhos, together with Pastor Olávio who brought a wonderful message at the end of the event, highlighting the need for Restoration, based on the text of Acts 3:18-21: "But God thus fulfilled what he had before announced by the mouth of all his prophets; that Christ should suffer. Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, and that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; And that he may send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began."
There was a tremendous outpouring of the blessings of Our Lord Jesus upon his people, as well as upon the visitors who are being evangelized, who were also impacted by the movement of God.
The Brothers from São Paulo presented praises to God, the group of sisters and young people from Santa Bárbara D'Oeste, the whole Church and the Young people from Valinhos.
The dynamics of the service were much divided between praises that exalted and demonstrated gratitude to the Lord Jesus, and messages that awakened the people to live in holiness, to have true commitment with the Lord, and to obey the Great Commission, as instructed in Mark 16:15-20: "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen."
There was an emphasis on the need to remain steadfast until the end, and especially so that we do not want to hasten the return of Jesus, but rather to fulfill our obligation to carry the message of God's Word to every creature, for it is the only condition for the much-desired end to come, as stated in Matthew 24:13,14: "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
We ask for prayers in favor of the Church in Piracicaba SP, as this was the first of the series we planned, and the intention is to be able to join forces with brothers from surrounding cities to reach souls for the Kingdom of God.
