A king who did not believe in God’s goodness. He had a servant who in every situation would tell him: My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, He never makes mistakes!
One day they went out to hunt, and a beast attacked the king. His servant managed to kill the animal, but could not prevent his majesty from losing a finger on his hand.
Furious and showing no gratitude for having been saved, the nobleman said: Is God good? If He were good I would not have been attacked and lost my finger.
The servant merely replied: My King, despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good; and He knows the reason for all things
What God does is perfect. He never makes mistakes! Indignant with the answer, the king ordered his servant imprisoned Some time later, he went out on another hunt and was captured by savages who made human sacrifices.
Already at the altar, ready to sacrifice the nobleman, the savages noticed that the victim was missing one of his fingers and released him: he was not perfect to be offered to the gods
Upon returning to the palace, he ordered his servant released and received him very affectionately. My dear, God was truly good to me! I escaped being sacrificed by the savages, precisely because I was missing a finger! But I have a doubt: If God is so good, why did He allow you, who defend Him so much, to be imprisoned?
My king, if I had gone with you on that hunt, I would have been sacrificed in your place, for I lack no fingers. Therefore, remember: everything God does is perfect. He never makes mistakes! Many times we complain about life and the apparently bad things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is by chance and that everything has a purpose. Every morning offer your day to the Lord Jesus.
Ask God to inspire your thoughts, guide your actions, calm your feelings. And fear nothing, for God never makes mistakes!
God never makes mistakes... God’s way is perfect and His word without impurity. He is the way of all who trust in Him as it says in 2 Samuel - 22 - 31.
For sure this message came at the right time to you. Do you know why?
God never makes mistakes!
