Holiness in the face of worldly diversity
Being in restoration in these days is truly an arduous task.
Swimming against the tide of humanity, proud to live modernity. The contemporary [age] preaches that we have to move forward, always evolve.
The devil, wisely, through many channels has taught that youth needs to enjoy life, to live it to the fullest; and in this crazy idea, many dishes are presented, within them delicacies with pleasant aromas and appearance that fills the eyes have seduced many, totally destroying their lives.
Television programs are true exploiters of sexuality; in magazines, half-naked women are treated as merchandise for sale at the market; and in advertisements nudism sells everything from rice to imported cars.
And how to avoid them, if everyone has them and whoever doesn't have them is labeled by modernist society as ignorant? How to escape from these subjects, which are the everyday topics in friend groups, that influence many who call themselves Christians? And at work: what is the preferred subject of coworkers? In this so hostile context, how to conduct dating without falling into temptations? How can we be pure in days when sexuality is so exploited? It is not easy at all!!! Hour after hour, we are faced with the devil offering an inviting menu, stirring our senses.
Here is the answer: "Guard yourself so that you are not also tempted." (Gl, 6.1).
This is the commandment left by God to all, whether young or old!
It is necessary to be full of the Holy Spirit, to walk in holiness, righteousness and with a heart overflowing with love for the Eternal, this love constrains us to live according to His precepts.
It is likely that our love for the Father will place us in some difficult situation, in relation to social life. But "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness..." (Mt, 6.33). "No one can serve two masters;... You cannot serve God and riches." (Mt, 6.24).
Young people in restoration: it is better to serve God exclusively, seeking to place Him first in all aspects of our lives. God's will first, then ours! This is how our life should be: "Holy" (according to the precepts of divine law) which is the main condition for victory before the devil and his demons.
Holiness clothes us with the armor of the Lord, protecting us from the touch of the evil one, from his sword and arrows.
