The land goes through many phases until it dries up. It is formed from the dust of the earth, spreading across the soil, is moistened by rain, tilled and harvested by man... after its years of success, it becomes unloved, and the more time passes, the more despised it is, after a while, it no longer spreads, it becomes hard, and not even rain softens it anymore... after this horrible process, it is abandoned, and besides being hard, now cracks appear, and its beauty is transformed into a landscape of pain.
When there is nothing left to expect from the land that has become dry, may it receive a gift from God, a companion that accepts its dwelling, its lack of rain, its solitude.
The Cactus, which has a dry appearance like that of the land, thorny because generated by dry land feels its contempt and thus protects itself from the world with its thorns, but remembering the years of success, over time it shows its BEAUTY with the Flower that is born from it, the FLOWER that from the thorn, from the dry land and from the sun comes, and so to speak, is strong and independent... there is no fragility in this flower, which came from the dry land and the thorns... it stores its water in the few periods of rain, and blooms at night.
How many examples we can draw from the dry land:
Feel the love of people when one is useful,
Be despised and abandoned when success ends,
Deal with solitude,
Gain a companion of frightening appearance
And yet, GENERATE a strong beauty, that is not afraid of dryness, is not afraid of thorns, is not afraid of SOLITUDE, and is not afraid to bloom at Night.

When there is nothing left to expect from the land that has become dry, may it receive a gift from God, a companion that accepts its dwelling, its lack of rain, its solitude.
