A certain very atheist speaker was giving a lecture on personal fulfillment, in a certain place he was speaking about business and other theses, then he said in the middle of it, that God did not exist, and that we were lords of our own lives, and that all of this was mere history.
But a very simple and humble person stood up and raised his arm and asked for the opportunity.
The speaker stopped and gave the opportunity to that man, it was when he stood up and took an apple from a bag and started eating it, the speaker was about to speak again and the man asked for the opportunity again and started eating the apple again, again the speaker was about to continue the lecture when the man swallowed the last piece, and said to the speaker like this: Was this apple sweet or was it sour.
The speaker somewhat unsure of what was happening said to the man: How can I know if it was sweet or sour when I did not taste it! And then that gentleman spoke in his simplicity: And how can you know if my God exists or not, if you have not experienced Him.
Experience the grace of God, for it has an incomparable flavor!
