Evangelism or evangelization consists of preaching the Christian Gospel (the message of salvation in Jesus of Nazareth according to Christian faith). When we analyze the origin in the gospel it means 'Good news'.
The Lord Jesus Christ is and will always be the essence of the gospel, his earthly ministry, his suffering, his coming, his death and resurrection, his doctrine should always be the content of our preaching, through the gospel is that man knows salvation in the person of Jesus Christ. He is the only answer for this world that perishes as a consequence of sin.
The gospel is not something that arose by chance, for God in his omniscience had promised it since before the ages of centuries.
The gospel of Christ, although preached more than two thousand years ago, is the only message that renews itself each day, and is always in eminence in our hearts. From the book of Genesis to Revelation we see that evangelizing has always been and will always be a priority in God's plans for his servants.
There are still those who think that evangelizing is only the mission of pastors, consecrated evangelists, etc... That is, only for ministerial calling, forgetting that the Go Ye of Lord Jesus encompasses all those who have received His Name, without distinction of ministerial function or theological training.
We need to keep alive in us our role in the body of Christ, for the word of God affirms us in John 15:16 "You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and your fruit should remain..."
To help with this question see some steps to be followed, let's see:
Step I - Know the Word of God
In 1 Timothy 3:16-17 it says: "All Scripture is divinely inspired and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, and thoroughly prepared for every good work".
Step II - Trust in the Word of the Lord
In Romans 10-11 it says thus: "Because the scripture says: Everyone who believes in him will not be confounded".
Step III - Obey the Word of God
In Joshua 1-8 it says thus: "Let not the book of this law depart from your mouth, but meditate on it day and night, that you may take care to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and you will be successful".
Step IV - Persevere in planting
Perseverance should be a mark in every believer. Matthew 24:13 says that "He who perseveres to the end will be saved".
Step V - Have faith
In Hebrews 11-1 it says: "Faith is the firm foundation of things that are hoped for, and the proof of things that are not seen".
Step VI - Pray
In 1 Thessalonians 5-17 it says that We should pray without ceasing.
Step VII - Be full of the Holy Spirit
In Galatians 5-16 it says: "I say then: Walk in spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh".
Step VIII - Purify yourself
In 1 Peter 1:15-16 it says: "But, as is Holy He who called you, be you also holy in all your manner of living".
Step IX - Preach
Christ said in Luke 19:40 That if we keep silent the stones will cry out.
Step X - Persuade
In Acts 13:43 it says that the apostle Paul exhorted, that is, persuaded, Jews and proselytes to persevere in the grace of God.
And you? Have you been speaking of the 'Good news' to souls that are lost?
Know that there is much work, and little time. Offer fruit to the Lord, knowing that your work is not in vain.
May the peace of Lord Jesus be with you.
