Still in the midst of the theme “the means of communication and healthy doctrine”, I will address the internet. A relatively new technology that has more than 600 million users worldwide. In Brazil there are 5% of this universe, approximately 30 million.
Being a virtual world very similar to the real one, it is undeniably a highly influential vehicle. Through it, the evil one has brought much destruction. In the anonymity of virtuality he offers to those eager for sin, for satisfaction, especially pornography, for spiritualist and or satanic philosophies.
An indispensable resource is in almost every home and through it many, especially young people, have used this tool to secretly vent all the wickedness of the flesh. Anonymous, they find a situation of freedom that encourages them to act according to the inclinations of their hearts and do terrible things. One forgets that the Lord sees all things and certainly such sins do not go unnoticed before the throne and will be charged at the opportune time (Ap 2.23).
It is necessary that we young people militant in the Church of the Lord Jesus in times of restoration have proper care with our spiritual life, not allowing impurity to lodge in us, drawing us away from true communion with the Eternal.
It is advisable that we avoid social networking sites like Orkut and others alike. Used by many to build friendships and they even say they are announcing the Lord's love, but unfortunately, what is really noted is that on these portals people are more concerned with promoting themselves.
The awareness of a holy life must encompass our entire being, to the point of producing the fruits of the Holy Spirit in all situations.
However, amid these dense darknesses the light of the Lord has shone, dispelling them; behold that new points of light arise daily, they are websites that seek to honor and glorify the Holy name of the Lord God, providing true oases, with pure waters that restore lives. Therefore, we who seek daily to honor God, can use this tool by accessing these pages worthy of the Saints.
