This Saturday, February 04, the church in Piracicaba – SP was greatly rejoiced with the realization of the first evangelistic celebration of 2023.
God spoke from the beginning with his people, the opening text was in Habakkuk, and the passage was read: “A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth. O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.” Habakkuk 3:1,2.
In this work the opening was very fitting with our purpose and prayer, for we want to see the Work of God growing and being noticed among the nations, with many conversions and baptisms, to honor and glory of His Name.
The Event to live up to its name, received visitors who are being evangelized, who were able to contemplate the true difference between those who serve God and those who do not serve, in addition to feeling through the messages that were sent and the praises sung, how God truly works in the midst of his people.
It was a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon his people, where Our Great God and Lord Jesus Christ, could clothe his servants with power and grace.
We received a caravan with brothers from the church in São Carlos, together with Pr. Hildebrando, we also had brother from the church in Santa Bárbara D'Oeste and the brothers Erasmo and Rose from the church in Dourados MS.

It was a memorable worship, with many praises and messages from on high, God used his people powerfully. Pr. Ademir brought us a very important reflection, having highlighted that it is up to each one of us to seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God, having sung together with brother from the church in Santa Bárbara.
The youth of the church in São Carlos praised the Lord Jesus with a hymn whose message questions who wants to be sent to preach the gospel of our God, which was in accordance with one of the messages spoken and which also meets our mission and project, having been brought by Ev. Deivide from the church in São Carlos, whose basis was the text: “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:1-8.
At the end Pr. Hildebrando brought a wonderful message about the lame man at the pool of Bethesda, and this was the base text: “After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?” João 5:1-6.
In the explanation mention was made of the types of people who sometimes remain waiting for a movement so they can be part of and receive something from Jesus, but they ignore that Jesus is right there and by their side, and it is enough that the person wants to leave the condition they are in and live the newness of God.
The blessings were tremendous in the realization of this work, but we need the brothers to continue praying in favor of the church in Piracicaba, for we want to see the number of saved being added in this city.
We also wish to hold throughout this year many other events similar to this one, and for that we will need the cooperation of the brothers of the churches that are around us.
